Deep stretch is a slow, mindful practice suitable for all levels of practice. Long holds in postures - some with the use of props to support the body - target the hips, hamstrings, and back muscles. These areas of the body hold much of our daily stress. A mindful deep stretch practice serves to release built up tension in the body, mind, and spirit, leaving the student feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
